Project Description

Getting To Alaska – Marine Transportation

Take the ferry to dozens of great destinations! With over 3,000 miles of scenic coastal waterways, nearly every stop on the Alaska Marine Highway is a perfect way to experience the beauty of Alaska. From the southern terminus in Bellingham, Washington, the ferry route stretches more than 3,500 miles to Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Due to the vast size of the state and the ferry route, it has been divided it into three regions.

If you have an abundance of time – take the Ferry from Bellingham (Washington State) to Juneau (Alaska) and catch the local flight to Anchorage where you will start your Alaskan Adventures! Or take the Ferry from Bellingham to Whittier (Alaska) and take the bus to Anchorage…
